Who we are
A small crew united by a commitment to support some of the most challenging architectural projects.
We are in Germany, but work for projects in the US. We handle multiple projects, suppliers and materials at a time, requiring focus and a problem-solving attitude. Time is of the essence in our projects, so we'd better be efficient.
We are working in a construction business. Construction is a sequence of a lot of things that need to happen across many interfaces to come up with a successful project. We are a tiny little piece in this puzzle. In football terms (or soccer, if you are in the US), we would see us as defensive midfielders, working hard to avoid much bigger problems behind us, winning the ball back quickly to stay in control, and sometimes playing a good pass to allow the strikers to get in a good position. It's likely somebody else to score and to be in the spotlight.
Who you are
Rock star? Questionable. Friendly and thoughtful? Let’s talk.
If you consider yourself an eager learner, a conscientious worker, and a thoughtful, kind, supportive human, you might just have a home here.
We don’t place independent value on where you come from, where you worked before, where you went to school, if you graduated or dropped out, or how well you did or didn’t do. We care about who you are today, how you’ll be tomorrow, and what you’re able to do now.
An engineering, architecture and/or construction background might be helpful, but is not a strict requirement. You need to be fluent in English, and for sure it's helpful if your are strong at data processing.
What it’s like to work here
A calm, low-distraction environment where you can do your best work.
We work hard to make sure every employee is given the freedom, tools, trust, and support to do the best work of their careers. We value a calm company and deliberate, concerted effort. 8-hour days and 40-hour weeks are plenty of time to do great work, so that’s all we expect.
During our mornings, we need to get work done. Reports, orders, schedules. During afternoons, in addition, coordination with the different teams in the US will happen.
You will need to talk and write in English to colleagues, partners, and clients in English all the time. However, listening and structuring communications are likely as important, as we need to connect people and companies across cultures and continents.
We look forward to getting to know you. Thanks for checking us out.
